Valencians, Falleros and visitors to Valencia will all be at the hot dog eating event t on Saturday 12th March from 11.30 am at Puente de las Flores (The Bridge of Flowers) in Valencia.<br />
The aim of this event is to get the the highest concentration of people in history, eating hot dogs at once. Success will result in an entry to the Guinness World Records.<br />

		<description><![CDATA[The traditional Ninot Parade of 1,100 people will tonight fill the streets of Valencia.<br />
Leaving Calle Játiva at 22:30 (that&#8217;s Spanish 22:30 so be prepared to wait a little longer) via Marqués de Sotelo past the beautiful Post Office building &#8211; Correos &#8211; up to the doors of City Hall/Ayuntamiento on Plaza del Ayuntamiento, which will house the main ninot of Fallas 2011.<br />
The arrival of the committee parade in the square will trigger a fantastic colourful mascletá (firework display, Spanish style).<br />

		<description><![CDATA[MTV Winter 2011 line up and date has been announced for Valencia.<br />
On the 12th of March, Valencia will hold the fourth MTV Winter Festival&#8217;s  edition at the impressive architectural complex of The City of Arts and  Sciences.<br />
The last three MTV Winter Festivals have seen the likes of The Cure, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys and HIM. This time the headline acts are My Chemical Romance and SUM 41 with special DJ sets from Orbital and UK band Groove  Armada. Supporting band will be Welcome Dinasty &#8211; winners of a recent rock contest.<br />

		<description><![CDATA[La Tomatina is a food fight festival held on the last Wednesday of August each year in the town of Buñol in the Valencia region of Spain. Tens of metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown in the streets in exactly one hour.<br />
The week-long festival features music, parades, dancing, and fireworks. On the night before, participants of the festival compete in a paella cooking contest. It is tradition for the women to wear all white and the men to wear no shirts. This festival started in a casual way in 1945, but wasn&#8217;t officially recognized until 1952.<br />

		<description><![CDATA[The Municipal Palace, now called the Palacio de la Exposicion, is located in a privileged environment of the city with excellent transport links and surrounded by open spaces.<br />
It was once part of the various buildings constructed for the Regional Exhibition held in Valencia in 1909, which were mostly were demolished when the contest ended. Only a few buildings were saved from the demolition and were reused for other purposes, including the Palace of the Exposition.<br />
