Café del Duende is a small bar dedicated exclusively to Flamenco.
Originating in 1998 and answering the demand of many flamenco enthusiasts, it soon became a popular venue where fans of flamenco could enjoy their favourite music.
Over the years since opening it has become a point of reference for flamenco lovers and people becoming interested in the music and nowadays there is a varied and multi-cultural audience.

IVAM Sings the Blues

Jazz will be taking over Thursday nights in Valencia thanks to the IVAM Blues Festival 2009.
On 18th and 25th June at 11 p.m. the Valencian Institute of Modern Art (IVAM) will be welcoming two great musical acts.
On 18th June, the pianist Lluís Coloma will be showing his skill in Blues and Boogie Woogie. Coloma, named best Blues musician on various occasions in national and international competitions, displays energy and originality. Then on Thursday 25th June, Raíles Blues Band & Janine Johnson will be giving a concert that marks the end of the IVAM Blues Festival 2009.
