Festival VEO | València Escena Oberta

Experimentation in performance is the starting point for the 17 shows taking part in the Valencia Open Stage Festival (VEO) between 11th and 22nd February. Music, dance, and Valencia’s emblematic squares and buildings will be converging for the seventh year in a row in a festival that has become a major reference point for contemporary creators.

The Plaza del Patriarca, the Valencia Museum of Enlightenment and Modernity (MuVIM), El Musical Theatre, the Viveros gardens, the Opera House, the Almudín museum and the Plaza del Doctor Collado become a meeting point for actors and actresses looking for new performing experiences.

The Romanian Gypsy Circus, Teatro delle Ariette, Taiat Dansa, Ross van Geffen, El Pont Flotant, Patricia Portela, Circolando … these are just a few of the acts taking part in this year’s edition of the festival. A compendium of productions performed to members of the public under the title of Nature. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to admire Valencia through the artist’s gaze, discover companies that have never before performed in Spain and experience the city in a completely different way for a few days!
