The Mercado de Colón is located in the extension of the city between Columbus Street and Gran Via Marques de Turia in what was formerly the gas works of the Marquis de Campo.
It was designed in 1914 by Francisco Mora Berenguer (1875-1961) who studied at the School of Architecture in Barcelona and had direct contact with the Catalan modernism, especially the work of Gaudí, Puig , Domenech i Montaner and the design ideas of his professors Antonio M. ª Gallissà i Soque and Joan Torras i Guardiola.

Estacion del Norte is located in the heart of the city of Valencia, next to the Bullring and just 200m from the Town Hall.

The Lonja de la Seda in Valencia is a late Valencian Gothic style civil building built between 1482 and 1548, and is one of the principal tourist attractions in the city.
You need to go in and look up and the spectacular structure. It has the most amazing  spiral-shaped columns holding up the roof and an abundance of stone decorations round the doors and the gargoyles.

In front of the Convent of Santo Domingo, forming part of the surroundings of the historical plaza del Tetuan, is the palace of the counts of Cervelló, a building of singular importance in the contemporary history of the city.
When the Palacio del Real one was demolished in 1810, the Palacio Cervelló became the official residence of the monarchs during their visits. In 1814, for example, Fernando VII was received there.

La Casa-Museo Concha is the house where Concha Piquer was born.
On the ninety-fifth anniversary of her birth (Valencia, 1906-Madrid, 1990), Valencia City Council paid tribute to the memory of the famous artist from Valencia and created La Casa-Museo Concha Piquer dedicated to her and her life.

Prince Felipe Museum of Science is part of Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències.
The building was designed by Santiago Calatrava and was built in a joint venture of Fomento de Construcciones and Contratas and Necso. It was opened on 13th November 2000.

The Central Market of Valencia is constructed in a modernist style and was built in 1914.
The designers, Francisco Guard Vial and Alexander Soler, both trained at the School of Architecture of Barcelona and worked closely with Domènech i Montaner, an architect who characterized himself as a modernist.
There is great beauty in the architecture as well as the tradition and history of the market. The combination of metal, glass and the Gothic columns is a testament to modernism, as if the Market is a cathedral to the commerce-centre it once was.

The church of San Juan del Hospital is one of the most interesting monuments in the city.
The historical place of San Juan Hospital has in its interior the oldest church of Valencia. It was founded in the 13th century (1238) by the Sovereign Military order and San Juan de Jerusalem.

The Hemisfèric was the first building in the City of Arts and Sciences to open its doors to the public in 1998.
This spectacular construction was designed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, with an ovoid roof spanning over 100 metres that contains the large sphere that constitutes the projection room of the IMAX cinema.
