Café Bolseria

Café Bolseria

La Bolsería is one of the most popular and high profile mainstream weekend spot in Barrio El Carmen.
Now in it’s 15 years, it is still all about the looks and the moves. Packed with people who come down for a drink, a light dance, and to find a mate, Bolseria is always full of life.
Normal nights in Bolseria tend to be heavily R&B influenced, hot and sexy, even outright wild, with plenty of dressing-up and dancing skills, if the space allows. Even though La Bolseria is a total flame for the mainstream moths of the night, it is a passionate and dynamic venue [...]

Orient Xpress – Asian Noodle Bar in Carmen

We’ll start with the good – the food is excellent. Far better than I had expected. I started with a salad followed by yaki udon noodles with beef, and both dishes were delicious.

Fresh ingredients in the salad and a perfect blend of spices & sauce in the noodles — and large quantities of both. I enjoyed every bite, and there was no room for dessert. Juergen had Gyoza [...]

Exposicio Del Ninot 2009

ninot6

Welcome to the 75th Ninot Exhibition.

Ninots are tiny figures (compared to the big huge Fallas) which are placed within a Fallas exhibit. They provide some humor, often reflecting on the happenings of the past year.
It’s similar to the Carnival  from Germany and other places from around the world. The exhibit is a nice way to take a closer look at the often beautiful and artistic figures before they’re placed on the streets during La Planta and finally burned on La Crema.
One thing is certain – all the Ninots are burnt, except for the one saved by a public vote. [...]
